Events in the Parish
The Immaculate Conception is a vibrant parish, serving people in many different ways. Liturgy is central, but the Gospel is also concerned with people, with justice and with community. We aim to reflect the Gospel in all that we do, so our parish life is varied and vibrant, liturgical, social, ecumenical and focussed on justice and peace.
Find an event that suits you – and if you don't find one, perhaps you could organise for something that is lacking here to take place – please speak to Fr Jim with ideas and suggestions.

Feast of St Bartholomew
He came from Cana in Galilee and followed Jesus. We know little of him, but he may have gone to Persia where he was martyred by being flayed – skinned alive. Did you know that in Michelangelo’s picture of Bartholomew from the Sistine Chapel, in the flayed skin is a picture of Michelangelo himself!
