Events in the Parish
The Immaculate Conception is a vibrant parish, serving people in many different ways. Liturgy is central, but the Gospel is also concerned with people, with justice and with community. We aim to reflect the Gospel in all that we do, so our parish life is varied and vibrant, liturgical, social, ecumenical and focussed on justice and peace.
Find an event that suits you – and if you don't find one, perhaps you could organise for something that is lacking here to take place – please speak to Fr Jim with ideas and suggestions.

Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Moved from 15th August – This feast recalls that since she was immaculately conceived, free of all corruption Mary was assumed body and soul into heaven. This feast is a singular honour to the Mother of God but a reminder that we too are called to be God forever in heaven.
